Short weeks are no better!!!

Well its Muesday today, and work has been a real hoot.... or not maybe more like a zoo. 15 more minutes till home time though! Anyway I had a good weekend, but even though there was an extra day off it was still far too short. Played far too much World of Warcraft because I finally did some of the higher lvl instances/dungeons. It is pretty insane having to spend 4 hours at the computer just to do one thing... oh well it was fun, just made time go by faster than I would have liked. Went and saw X-men 3 with my bro-in-law and dad last night... insane. They went so far off course I dont know if they will be able to recover with a 4th movie or not... but I know they will have to try. I hope everyone that watched it stayed till after the credits, if not you missed a major part. Not going to type the spoiler here though. Well its about that time for me to pack up and head home!

Happy Friday!

So yay, I didnt have to do my laundry last night. I am going to be getting together with my mom this afternoon and driving down to my grandma's to load my truck up with garage sale stuff. My mom was going to give me gas money for doing this but instead I asked if she could do my laundry while she is sitting out in the garage next to her machines on saturday for the sale. So thats whats happening! So happy, I much perfer the absence of doing laundry to getting gas money back. So yeah basically my Friday is going to be taken up helping my mom, but hey! it's payday!!! Unfortunately that means I have to go food shopping this weekend, and spend it all.

First among many...

Sweet! Just found out that I can access Livejournal from work! I have always wanted to have a journal that I might actually use. Guess I'll have to see how this one works out for me.

Anyway, work is boring, wish I could go home and play some WoW, talk to my g/f, watch TV, anything but..... oh damn it... when I go home I have to do laundry. Bah, laundry sux.

Well for those that might read this I will give you an introduction to who I am...

Well I live in the Kansas City area and am working as a Project Manager for a security company here. I run security at an engineering firm here in the area. Basically I get paid to do nothing. Okay, okay, I do have a role to play... I am a shit filter. I basically do paperwork which normal paperwork I have worked down to where I spend about 2 hours a week on it, payroll, scheduling and the like, boring... So other than that I am as I said a shit filter. I have to listen and play mediator between, my employees, my client, and the district office for my company. After I get info then I have to try and get stuff done. Well basically my client kicks ass, but my company not so much. Basically when I try to work with the corporate office to get stuff done I get a run around. Like I am trying right now to get all my officers raises, including myself, and every time I check into it I get nothing but bullshit from the office. I am about to go up there and have a nice sit with my main boss, the district manager, and see whats up. He was the DM at a previous company I worked for and while he was the people at my account didnt get raises for more than 3 years... yeah not going to let that happen again, or at least I'm going to do my best to insure it doesnt. Well enough about my shitty job, the main positives are that the hours rule, the work really is very easy, and money is also nice.

Let me tell you now about my real life away from work. I am a nerd, utterly and completely. I love computer games, such as; WoW, Elderscrolls: Oblivion, Counter-Strike, Battlefeild 2, Warcraft 3, basically any game I can get my hands on I will try out, though mainly all on computer. I also love books (mainly as something to do at work but still...), mostly scifi/fantasy. I love my family, I have a brother and a sister, both are married, and my sister and her husband have a daughter (the best niece in the world.) I live with my dad at the moment helping him out while he recovers from a double knee replacement. He is almost recovered enough to not need help now so I am looking forward to finally getting out on my own again soon. And last but deffinately not least, I love my girlfriend. Long distance relationships really suck, but its well worth it. She lives in New York which is just a few minutes away from Kansas City...

So now you know a bit about me, though if you read all that I must apologize for being such a poor writer. I am sure there are spelling errors all over the place, but this is nice cause writing all this helped me pass a few minutes here at work that much quicker.
